Senior Financial Analyst

Department: Finance
Location: Allen, TX

Job Function Summary:

This position will be responsible for all aspects of the Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Profitability functions. This position will perform detailed financial analysis, modeling, and research as assigned.

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Asset/Liability Management function for the Credit Union, including preparing model inputs, creating accurate and timely reports, analyzing results, and managing all aspects of the ALCO committee meeting.
  • Responsible for the market, product and members profitability including create accurate and timely reports, analyzing results using UNIFY applications.
  • Assist in the timely preparation of accurate statistical studies, reports and analyses in areas such as, pricing, fee income, cost trends.
  • Interfaces with management in the preparation of various finance reports.
  • Coordinates more complex finance projects and initiatives with other members of the finance team or with other departments.
  • Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union Standards and the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Performs all other job duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications, Experience, & Education:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting with advanced knowledge of financial theory and a minimum of five (5) years related experience, preferably in a financial institution. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and groups.  Candidate should be highly proficient in spread-sheeting software, relational databases, and word processing software applications.

 

Accommodations:

Requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours daily), repetitive motion of hands for typing, griping, grasping, filing, etc., and the use of standard office equipment.  Other physical standards may occasionally be required.
