Organizational Culture Manager

Department: Learning & Development
Location: Allen, TX


Thought-leader focused on high-impact team member programs rooted in behavioral science. Increase employee awareness, promote team engagement, and manage organizational change and internal messaging. Produces correspondence for team members to keep them informed of company initiatives, changes, projects, and recognition. †Utilizes the appropriate communication channels, such as email, internal memos, intranet, videos, messaging screens, and print materials. †Develops, or assists in the preparation of, presentations and/or speeches geared toward new and existing team members.†

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages, creates and edits communications to team members using various channels such as vision boards, Connections banner, presentations, training materials, emails, internal memos, alerts, and other appropriate methods.
  • Oversees organization-wide culture initiatives such as engagement, Superior Service Level Agreements, Town Halls, change management, recognition programs, leadership development, and support of business partnersí key programs and announcements.† Leads all communications for such projects.
  • Acts as contact point for Values Committees.
  • Spearheads launching and monitoring the social learning platform in the LMS to support the leadership development program and other engagement programs.
  • Manages the LMS Administrator and other staff, as required.
  • Writes, trains, and facilitates train-the-trainer courses for organizational development campaigns.
  • Ensures UNIFYís Core Values are considered and applied within applicable communications.
  • Applies appropriate brand images, style, and voice for all messaging.
  • Develops, utilizes, and maintains UNIFYís Communication Standards and Style Guide.
  • Drafts communications for different audiences based on professional experience, education, gender, and age groups.
  • Provides communication support to Human Resources for employee hiring and retention strategies.
  • Constructs clear and concise instructions for team members about learning activities within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Manages the content on the Learning and Development intranet page.
  • Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union service standards, policies, and procedures; and with the Bank Secrecy Act and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience, & Education:

Bachelorís degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or a closely related field; with a minimum of two years of experience in corporate communications; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sound written and verbal communication skills.† Must be able to interpret and translate business initiatives into engaging and effective communications.† Strong interpersonal and listening skills.† Must be a team player, able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders at all levels.† Skilled with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).† Proficient with SharePoint and Learning Management Systems.†

Prefer financial services industry experience; prefer experience in a service environment.
